Air Evac Lifeteam 173 had the opportunity to spend the evening with the Gravel Switch Fire Department in Marion County, providing landing zone training and sharing some pizza with the crew.

We want to thank everyone for the warm welcome, great questions, and active participation throughout the training. It was great to see firsthand how your department would establish and manage a landing zone during an emergency response. These partnerships and training opportunities help ensure we can work together safely and efficiently when every second counts.

We appreciate your dedication to serving the community and look forward to working alongside you in the future. Stay safe, and thank you for having us out!

Training together today helps us save lives together tomorrow. ๐Ÿš๐Ÿš’

Today, Air Evac 173 had the opportunity to attend Nelson County Fire Rescueโ€™s 3rd Annual Car, Truck, Jeep, and Bike Show!

We enjoyed showcasing our aircraft, meeting members of the community, seeing some incredible vehicles, and even helping judge the entries. ๐Ÿš๐Ÿ†

Most importantly, this event supports the WHAS Crusade for Children, helping make a difference in the lives of children and families throughout our region.

Thank you to Nelson County Fire Rescue for the invitation, the great lunch, and all you do for our community. We had a great time.

Today, Air Evac Lifeteam 173 was honored to attend and sponsor the Marion County Chamber of Commerce Lunch. It was a great opportunity to connect with community leaders, local businesses, healthcare partners, and fellow first responders while sharing more about the mission of Air Evac Lifeteam and Global Medical Response (GMR).

During the luncheon, Program Director Amanda Knopp highlighted the incredible team at Air Evac 173 and recognized the dedication and teamwork that make our mission possible every day. She also took time to recognize the many community partners we are privileged to work alongside, including Marion County EMS, Spring View Hospital, Lebanon Police Department, Marion County Sheriff's Office, and the many local first responders who continually support our crews and serve the citizens of Marion County with professionalism and compassion.

Events like these are a great reminder that strong partnerships and community collaboration are essential to providing the highest level of emergency care to those we serve.

Representing Air Evac 173 today were Senior Program Director Dan Durham, Program Director Amanda Knopp, Membership Sales Manager Angela Howard, Flight Paramedic Olivia Jackson, and Flight Paramedic/RN Brendon Patten.

Thank you to the Marion County Chamber of Commerce for having us and for all you do to support our local community and businesses. ๐Ÿš๐Ÿ’™
