Special Olympics Boone County Special Olympics Boone County offers year-round sports training and competitions to children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

The Mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities offering them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendships with their families, other Special Olympics a

thletes and the community. At SOBC we strive to provide a variety of sports to for our athletes to chose from and promote physical activity and positive social interactions, while promoting personal growth and independence.
