Good Morning!! A few things that need to be discussed about us. Akira Spa & Salon moved and reopened on September 5th, 2023. Our new address is 1741 NE Douglas Street, Ste. 102. We are only 1.5 blocks North of the last location.
Also, our name has changed! When you call our number (816) 554-4772 you will be greeted with Akira MedSpa instead.
Lastly, as so many recipients of gift certificates are concerned, YES you can still use your previously received gift certificates. HOWEVER, please go to the website and view available services. We no longer offer all the services as before, but you can use your gift certificate as a dollar amount instead of for a specific service if that's how it was written.
Also, we are still offering gift certificates for purchase. The last day to purchase for 2023 is this Friday, December 22! Don't wait until the last minute. Please call us with any questions.
We want to wish all of clients and supporters a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

What a cold, snowy morning! Please call the Spa/Salon before venturing out to make sure your service provider has made it to work. If you feel you cannot get out, please call us as soon as you make this decision. We want everyone to be safe on this verrry cold day.
Also, tomorrow, Friday, December 23, will be our last day open for 2022. We will reopen on January 3 at 10 a.m. Enjoy the holidays with your family and friends. We look forward to seeing all our wonderful clients in the new year, 2023!

Hello to all of our wonderful clients! We have fingers crossed that we will be able to actually open our doors again on May 16 at 9 am. If you don't have an appointment scheduled, please call in so we can accommodate your requests.
Everything is cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis. We do ask that you bring your mask with you to your appointment.
Also wanted to add that we will be sanitizing in between each client as well. Thank each and every one of you for your continued support.
