Lotz Therapy

10/15/2026

As you know, I just moved from KC to Springfield and since I have no friends yet, I'mma tell YOU.

So I went inside Kohl's today to use the bathroom after having to deal with the next door post office all morning. 🏤📬🐌

On my way to the back of the store, I walked past this Christmas dress set and thought it was easily the cutest thing ever.

I bought it for my 6 yo daughter👸🏼 and CANNOT WAIT to show it to her tonight! 99 degrees 🔥 two days ago IN October 🎃 and Christmas shopping today. 🕸️🎁🤷🏼‍♂️

THANKS for listening! 🎧

Pumpkin carving is probably my favorite annual family ritual. Affordable, off-screen, & kids get to feel big from having complete authorship. This makes year 6 in a row!🍂 🎃♥️

I was thrilled to chaperone my little racoon's first-ever field trip last week. 🦝🎃🍁

She loved taking her first school bus ride on the way out and exclaimed as we enjoyed our lunchtime PB & J's: "This is the best day ever!" 🥜🍓🥪

My little spitfire is driven, sweet, and FIERCE and I loved being with her in the wild. 🍂🦝

'Midwest autumn' 🍁 could ALWAYS still punk 🥊 me by powering up instantly to 100 degrees.

BUUUUT I do what I want and I decree IT'S FALL Y'ALL!🍁🍂🎃

🌲 Big News: Lotz Therapy has relocated to the Ozarks! 🌲

I'm excited to share that Lotz Therapy has officially relocated from Lee's Summit to Springfield, Missouri — right in the heart of the Ozark Mountains! 🏔

After 20+ years in this field, I'm grateful for a fresh chapter in a community known for its warmth, natural beauty, and strong sense of connection. I'm accepting new clients via 'in-person' or virtual and I'm still specializing in teenagers, trauma / EMDR, & Christian counseling.

I'm still doing lots of EMDR sessions with my KC area caseload via Telehealth. I know finding an EMDR specialist can be hard so I want to remind folks EMDR translates VERY well into a Telehealth format. My own personal EMDR therapy is through virtual not in-person format.

As my audience on here climbs toward 1K folks, I also still promise to post only the best mental health content I come across and also funny memes each week.

Here's to new beginnings — and to building something meaningful in this beautiful corner of Missouri. 🌲🚵🏼‍♀️🚣🏻‍♂
