If this video feels a little too relatable, you might be deep in a cluster feeding stretch ๐Ÿ˜…

A few things to hold onto right now:

Cluster feeding is normal. It doesnโ€™t mean your supply is low โ€” babies ramp up feeds during growth spurts to build your supply up.

Stop watching the clock. Diapers, weight gain, and how settled baby seems between feeds will tell you more than the minutes between sessions.

Build your station now. Water, snacks, phone charger, remote, burp cloths. You will thank yourself at 2am.

Let other people do everything else. Meals, dishes, laundry, diaper changes โ€” hand it off. Your one job right now is feeding and recovery.

This is a phase. It will not be your forever.

(And yes, we are actively recruiting this goat ๐Ÿ)

Did you know your body starts preparing to make milk long before your baby arrives? ๐Ÿค

Swipe through to learn the parts of the lactating breast and how they work together to make and deliver milk.

โœจ One important thing to know: breast size does not determine milk supply. Breast size is mostly related to fatty tissue, not the milk-making glandular tissue inside the breast.

Understanding whatโ€™s happening in your body during pregnancy can help you feel more confident as you prepare for breastfeeding.

Save this post for later and share it with an expecting mama who might find it helpful. ๐Ÿ’›

Breastfeeding is natural.

So is walking. That doesnโ€™t mean babies come out knowing how to do it. ๐Ÿซ

A virtual prenatal consult can help you feel prepared before baby arrives, so youโ€™re not learning everything the hard way at 2am ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

nobody told you it would feel like this. and thatโ€™s kind of the problem.

breastfeeding is genuinely hard. not because youโ€™re doing it wrong โ€” because it is hard. your body is learning something brand new while running on zero sleep with a tiny human attached to you. thatโ€™s not a personal failure. thatโ€™s just biology being unhinged ๐ŸŒฟ

youโ€™re not behind. youโ€™re not broken. you just might need actual support from someone who does this for a living.

thatโ€™s literally what weโ€™re here for ๐Ÿค

If you've ever been diagnosed with PCOS, there's something important you need to know before your baby arrives. ๐Ÿ‘‡

In May 2026, PCOS was officially renamed PMOS โ€” Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome โ€” following an international medical consensus published in The Lancet. Same condition. Better name. One that finally reflects what's actually happening in your body beyond your ovaries.
And it matters for breastfeeding.

PMOS can delay the "milk coming in" moment โ€” that hormonal shift that happens days 3โ€“5 postpartum. The reason? Insulin resistance (a core feature of PMOS) may interfere with the very hormones that trigger full milk production. It's not a failure. It's biology.

The good news: many people with PMOS breastfeed successfully โ€” some with a full or even abundant supply. PMOS raises your risk. It does not decide your story.

But early support changes outcomes. Swipe through to see what to watch for in your first week postpartum and what actually helps. ๐Ÿ‘†

๐Ÿ“Œ Save this if you have PMOS (formerly PCOS) and are pregnant or thinking about breastfeeding.
๐Ÿ’ฌ DM us "PMOS" if you want to talk with one of our IBCLCs before baby gets here.
