Shopping around for a custom pool builder in The Villages, FL? Make sure you’re comparing more than the price. 👀

A starting price can catch your attention, but understanding what’s included in that price is what helps you make an informed decision.

When reviewing estimates from pool contractors, look beyond the pool itself. Ask about permitting, ARC approvals, decking materials, screen enclosures, site preparation, final grading, sod replacement, stucco repairs and painting, landscaping, irrigation repairs or modifications, and anything else required to take your backyard from construction to completion.

At Folker Custom Pools, we believe homeowners deserve a clear understanding of their investment from the beginning.

Our turnkey approach is designed to simplify the pool-building experience, with experienced in-house crews, clear communication, and thoughtful coordination of the details that go into a completed project.

This fall’s pool plans. Next spring’s first swim!☀️

If a custom pool has been on your “sometime soon” list, this might be your sign to move it up.

Starting the process this Fall gives you time for the parts that happen before construction begins, including design, selections, ARC approval and permitting. Then, once it’s time to build, most Folker Custom Pools projects have a construction timeline of approximately 2–3 months.

So the pool you’re thinking about now could be the one you’re stepping into next spring. No waiting until the weather heats up to start making plans. No spending another Florida summer wishing you had started sooner.

Start the process now. Be ready to swim early next year.

This fall’s pool plans. Next spring’s first swim. ☀️
If a new pool is part of the plan for 2027, now is the time to start putting those plans into motion.

That efficient turnaround is part of the Folker Custom Pools Advantage. Our experienced team keeps your project moving through each phase, with in-house crews, clear communication and a turnkey process designed to eliminate unnecessary delays and loose ends.

For homeowners in The Villages, Lake County, Sumter County and Marion County looking for a custom pool builder who values both efficiency and attention to detail, welcome to Folker Custom Pools.

Moving quickly and being thorough don’t have to be opposites.

A well-run pool build comes down to knowing what needs to happen, when it needs to happen and who needs to be there to keep the project moving. That level of coordination is a big part of how we approach every Folker Custom Pools project.

It’s a turnkey approach built around fewer loose ends, clear communication and an experienced team that understands what needs to happen next.

The result? Less waiting around between stages, a process that keeps moving forward, and a finished pool like this at the end of it.

For homeowners in The Villages, Lake County, Sumter County and Marion County looking for a custom pool builder who values both efficiency and attention to detail, welcome to Folker Custom Pools.

Building the pool is only part of the job. Managing everything it takes to get there is the Folker Custom Pools Advantage.

When you decide to build a custom pool, there are a lot of moving pieces between the initial design and the day you finally step into the water.

Plans. HOA and ARC approvals when required. Permitting. Utility coordination. Excavation. Steel. Shotcrete. Plumbing. Electrical. Tile. Decking. Screen coordination. Plaster. Final details. And everything in between!

At Folker Custom Pools, our job is to make that entire process feel organized and well managed from start to finish.

Our team knows the local building process, our crews are consistently on site moving projects forward, and we keep homeowners informed about what’s happening along the way.

If you’re considering a custom pool in The Villages, Lake County, Sumter County, or Marion County, Florida, we’d love to talk about what you have in mind.
