There's no rest for me this week (ok, there's been lots of rest, but my mind is always whirling!)...

Working on a mini course for the coming months and focusing on a deep dive into the science of brittle nails and what they need to be strong.

My goal is to present complicated information in bite-sized, digestible amounts so that you can easily educate your clients when they ask, "why are my nails this way?" and "What can I do to heal them?"

Guys, I can't stress this enough - you get what you pay for!

I use single-use items or fully disinfected and sterilized implements ONLY.

I use separate tools on your feet and hands, never both.

I take time to fully disinfect the entire area after each client.

Little strip mall nail shops are more about volume of clients than quality of service.

Please choose wisely.

1 band, 2 months, zero pain.

This is the story of Curve Correct. Because her nails were so curved, we started with the lowest tension band. They've been on for 2 months and still are attached firmly. When she comes in next visit, we will remove them and go to the next higher band to further flatten her nails.

Her skin will also flatten because it won't be so pinched under the pressure of her nails. So far, just with 1 application, her toe pain has disappeared completely because the band gently lifts the nails up on the sides, reducing pressure on the skin.

Whoever figured this out is genius. What a simple yet effective way to alleviate pain and restore the shape of your nails!

6 months of regular pedicures every 7-8 weeks can truly help overcome long-standing issues. This client had laser on her toes to kill fungus, but didn't fully heal them. With daily RECOVER nail oil and regular pedicures, her nails are THISCLOSE to being fully healed. Some of the damage is from her very vigorous life (horse care and hay farmer), but overall - they look and feel fantastic!
