🎉 Congratulations to Lexi Loudon, MEd, LPC, NCC on becoming independently licensed in Louisiana and Texas! 🎉

Becoming an independently licensed mental health counselor is a significant milestone that represents years of education, supervised clinical experience, professional development, and dedication to serving others. We are incredibly proud of Lexi and all she has accomplished on her journey to licensure!!

Lexi's commitment to continued growth extends beyond licensure. She has completed specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for trauma treatment, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples, and is currently pursuing training in Equine-Assisted Therapy to further expand the ways she supports clients in their healing journeys.

Lexi specializes in working with individuals impacted by trauma, including military-affiliated populations and survivors of sexual trauma, and she also provides couples counseling. Her compassionate, client-centered approach helps individuals and couples navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful healing and growth.

As Thrive Unburdened continues to grow and evolve, we are excited to announce that effective June 1, 2026, we will be transitioning back to a fully virtual counseling practice.

Over the past 4 years, it has been an honor to provide in-person counseling services to the Leesville and surrounding communities. We are deeply grateful for the trust, support, and relationships that have allowed us to walk alongside so many individuals and families in their healing journeys. 💚

This transition back to telehealth services will allow us to focus on:
✔ Expanding accessibility
✔ Increasing flexibility for clients
✔ Reducing barriers to care
✔ Continuing to serve clients across Alaska, Louisiana, and Texas

While our service format for Louisiana is changing, our commitment to ethical, compassionate, and culturally responsive mental health care remains unchanged.
