This month, we are proud to spotlight Grace Dinvaut, Family Nurse Practitioner, whose dedication and leadership have made a lasting impact on the community she serves.
Nurse Practitioner Dinvaut brings an impressive educational background to Sabine Comprehensive Health Clinic (SCHC), including a Diploma in General Nursing; Registered Nurse Midwife credentials from Nigeria and Scotland; a BSN from LSU Medical Center–New Orleans; an MHA from Tulane University; an MSN from Southern University A&M College; and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Southern University A&M College. After serving in various nursing and healthcare administration roles, she found her calling as an advanced practice provider, where she could build meaningful patient relationships and provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Since opening the SCHC clinic location in February 2014, she has been a pillar of healthcare in the community. As the clinic’s primary provider, she has cared for multiple generations of families, developed chronic disease management programs, expanded access to preventive services, and helped establish the clinic as a Certified Patient-Centered Medical Home. Her commitment to patient education, advocacy, and preventive care has contributed to healthier outcomes and an improved quality of life for countless patients.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and blending West African and Creole cuisines, spending time with her family, entertaining, gardening, dancing, and traveling.
We are grateful for her years of service, leadership, and unwavering commitment to providing quality healthcare to our community. Thank you, Grace Dinvaut, for all that you do!
