Migraines are not always “just in the head.”
One of the most overlooked pieces of chronic headaches and migraines is the fascia system — the connective tissue web that wraps through the scalp, jaw, neck, shoulders, chest and even down into the arms and hands. When this system becomes tight, dehydrated, inflamed or neurologically overprotective, it can create incredible tension patterns and restriction throughout the body.
We often find that releasing the arms, hands, neck and scalp changes everything. Why? Because fascia is connected everywhere. Restriction in the upper body can pull tension upward into the cervical spine, jaw and cranial tissues, feeding the cycle of headaches, pressure and nervous system overload.
Sometimes the body is not asking for more force… it’s asking for release, circulation, movement and safety.
The migraine-fascia connection deserves more attention. 🤍
