Coming home to Utah began with one of the sweetest full-circle moments. As an Ayurvedic practitioner and teacher of Ayurveda and Ayurvedic bodywork, there is nothing more meaningful than returning to a community that has continued to grow while I was away. 🌿

Three years ago, when I left Utah for Michigan, there were just four of us gathering to share this ancient medicine and I sewed seeds for 4 years.

Coming home to find nearly 15 incredible women meeting each month to study, connect, collaborate, and support one another filled my heart with so much gratitude. Those tiny seeds have grown into something truly beautiful.🕉

Just days after arriving back, we gathered in Utah's breathtaking mountains, surrounded by blooming wildflowers, to hike, laugh, and share an Ayurvedic potluck together. It reminded me that healing isn't just found in herbs, bodywork, or daily rituals—it lives in community.

I've deeply missed having an Ayurvedic community close to home, and I feel so honored to step back into this circle, continue supporting the growth of Ayurveda in Utah, and help make these timeless healing traditions more accessible to our local community.🫶

Whether you're curious about Ayurveda, looking for an Ayurvedic practitioner in Utah, interested in Ayurvedic bodywork or Marma Therapy, or simply searching for a more connected way of living, I'm so grateful to be home and excited for what's ahead.😁

Here's to planting seeds, nurturing community, and watching them bloom. 💚🌸

Final Day | A Celebration of Growth, Healing & New Beginnings 🌿🎓✨

Four days. Six traditional Ayurvedic bodywork therapies. Nine incredible women. One unforgettable journey. 💚

Watching these students receive their certificates was far more than a graduation—it was a celebration of courage, commitment, new friendships, and the beautiful transformation that happens when we gather to learn with open hearts.

Together we practiced:
🌿 Abhyanga
🌿 Garshana
🌿 Shirodhara
🌿 Swedana
🌿 Pinda Sweda
🌿 Dough Basti

Along the way, we shared nourishing Ayurvedic meals, meaningful conversations, laughter, moments of stillness, and hands-on learning that will continue to ripple through every client these therapists serve.

There is truly nothing I love more than sharing the wisdom of the Ayurvedic healing arts. It's a passion that continues to grow with every class I teach. As more people seek natural, holistic approaches to health, the need for skilled, heart-centered Ayurvedic bodyworkers has never been greater.

If you're a massage therapist, wellness practitioner, or healing professional who feels called to expand your skills and offer something truly transformative, I'd love to welcome you into a future training. ✨

💬 Tell me in the comments: Which Ayurvedic therapy are you most excited to learn?

Dough Basti Day 🤲🌿

Who knew flour and water could become one of Ayurveda's most beautiful healing tools?

One of my absolute favorite classes to teach is Dough Basti because it invites us to reconnect with something we often forget as bodyworkers—the intelligence of our hands. 💛

Together, we explored different flours, mixed, kneaded, laughed, experimented with texture, and crafted custom dough rings designed to hold warm herbal oils over specific areas of the body. It's hands-on learning in every sense of the word, blending creativity with therapeutic purpose.

Dough Basti is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy used to nourish joints, calm the nervous system, ease musculoskeletal discomfort, and deliver the benefits of warm herbal oils directly where the body needs them most. It's simple, effective, and incredibly rewarding to learn.

This class holds a special place in my heart because, years ago, I couldn't find a dedicated manual on Dough Basti... so I wrote one. 📖✨ I'm deeply honored that Dr. John Douillard contributed the foreword, beautifully bridging modern scientific understanding with the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda.

If you're curious about bringing this therapy into your practice—or simply want to learn more—you can find the Dough Basti Manual through the link in my bio or on my website.

💬 I'd love to know... if you could learn one traditional Ayurvedic bodywork therapy, which would it be: Dough Basti, Shirodhara, Pinda Sweda, or Abhyanga? Tell me in the comments!

Day 2 | Shirodhara & Swedana 🌿💛

One of my favorite parts of teaching is watching strangers become a community.🫶🫶

Through the gentle flow of Shirodhara and the warmth of Ayurvedic herbal steam (Swedana), these incredible students learned not only the techniques, but also the art of giving, receiving, trusting, and caring for one another.💆

There is something truly special about slowing down, sharing healing hands, and witnessing each other's growth. These are the moments that can't be taught from a textbook—they're experienced heart to heart.🩷

This is the magic of learning Ayurveda together. ✨

Stay tuned... Finale is coming soon!

Day 3 | Shashtika Shali Pinda Sweda 🌾✨

If you've ever wondered what it looks like when learning feels like play... this is it. 💛

We spent the day laughing, rolling, tying, stirring, and crafting our own Shashtika Shali Pinda Sweda herbal rice boluses together before experiencing this beautiful therapy firsthand.

This isn't just a treatment—it's one of Ayurveda's most rejuvenating body therapies. Warm herbal rice boluses are rhythmically applied to nourish the tissues, soothe the nervous system, support healthy muscles and joints, improve circulation, and leave the body feeling deeply restored. 🌿🤲

Watching everyone confidently prepare their own pindas, then exchange treatments with such care and presence, was one of the highlights of the retreat. The room was filled with curiosity, connection, and so much joy.😁

These are the kinds of experiences that stay with you long after the retreat ends—not just the techniques you learn, but the people you meet and the healing you experience along the way. ✨

I already can't wait to gather again for our next Ayurvedic Bodywork Immersion. Will you be joining us? 💚

Day 1 of our Ayurvedic Bodywork Immersion Retreat 🌿✨

What an incredible way to begin four days of learning, connection, and transformation at the beautiful Sacred Waters Retreat Center. 💚

Our students arrived to thoughtfully prepared welcome bags, complete with a generous sponsored essential oil kit from , along with other wellness gifts to support their learning journey. 🎁🌿

🧘We began the morning with yoga and mindful movement, exploring how to initiate movement from the core and embody the rhythm and flow of the Abhyanga sequence. This practice helps bodyworkers move with greater ease, protect their bodies, and offer more grounded, intentional treatments.

After enjoying a fresh, nourishing Ayurvedic kitchari lunch, 🍲we spent the afternoon learning Garshana, Ayurveda's traditional raw silk dry brushing therapy, before diving into the foundations of Abhyanga, the ancient art of Ayurvedic oil massage.

As the day came to a close, we slowed down with peaceful walks around the lotus pond, reflected in the labyrinth, and soaked in the beauty of nature—because healing happens both inside and outside the classroom. 🌸🪷

This retreat is so much more than learning techniques. It's about experiencing how Ayurveda becomes way of life.🕉

✨ Stay tuned for tomorrow's reel as we dive deeper into Day 2 and the next therapies we explored!
