1. Turkey-Shared Blessing 🦃
If you chose turkey today you’re being asked to divide your bounty or give something away for the sake of seeing the joy on the face of another. Seeing someone smile can make us feel good, especially when the smile is the result of something we have done for them. A very special thing to do is to share something that is important to you with someone who is having a hard time, or to give a favorite thing away that you don’t use anymore. Your favorite thing may become their favorite thing, forging a bond of fondness that can never be broken. To give something away because you know it will make someone feel good is the way of the turkey. Giving something away could be as simple as offering someone a little of your time or your support. A little of your lunch can ease the pang of hunger in another’s stomach, while a friendly smile can mean a lot to someone who feels alone. Turkey reminds you that the more you give of yourself, the more the world will want to share with you.
2. Puma-Leadership 🐾
If you chose puma today, you are being asked to “step up” in some area of your life, and to take on a roll of leadership. It seems that a person (or people) may need you to take the lead at this time, and you are being invited to demonstrate faith and inner strength, maturity, and wholeness to fulfill that role. While it seems you have a little choice but to step into the role, be warned: the path of the true leader is fraught with trial and tribulation; obstacles that will test your resolve, commitment, and personal belief. Puma expects that, as a leader, it is time to earn the respect of others instead of expecting it or demanding it. It is time to learn how to show respect and compassion for others, even when you feel they don’t deserve it. As a leader you must: demonstrate a love and deeper respect for all living things and for nature as a whole; not only recognize all life as being sacred and deserving of respect, but you must also find a way of demonstrating it so that others will want to follow suit; consider the ways of the universe and the wants and needs of others before you even begin to contemplate your own. Now that you have been recognized as a worthy leader, you may find that people look at you differently. And while this may only be a perception based on low self-esteem or self-worth, there’s bound to be an element of sacred truth to it. Puma is asking you to step up and follow your purpose. It’s like you’ve been issued a spiritual directive to inspire others to reach a unified goal. And here is the warning issue earlier: you must guard against becoming a “guru”, one who has devotees rather than simple followers. Such a step is an impertinent slight against the message of the puma, and one that is sure to see you stumble and fall.
3. Chimpanzee-Acension 🐵
If you chose chimpanzee today, embrace the belief that you are worthy of great things because, to have the chimpanzee decide to willingly walk with you is to know, without question, that the gods are smiling on you at this time. The chimpanzee card is a sign that you will soon be afforded the opportunity of advancement or the chance to transcend the mundane in someway. As the “little climber”, the chimpanzee doesn’t sit contently on the bottom rung of the ladder for very long. Striving to always ascend and better himself, the chimpanzee teaches us to view ourselves as unique, talented, and set apart from others in a sacred way. If you follow the chimpanzees lead, you will find that you cannot fall in your bid to better yourself. You may also find yourself continually being offered opportunities to climb to greater heights, both inwardly and in the physical world. As you climb, you’ll be offered a powerful vantage point that will help you realize ways to improve yourself and your life. Chimpanzee is asking you to not only work hard, but to rely on your intuition to see clearly into the future because, when you trust and celebrate your relationship with spirit, you will always do well.
