 ✈️ This is your captain speaking! i.e Dr. Amer. 😄. Every now and then, I’ll be sharing a few thoughts — little sparks meant to make you pause and ponder. Nothing heavy, just ideas cruising through the clouds of curiosity.

And because I like to keep things personal, I’ll be posting them in my own handwriting — a touch of ink to make it feel more human.

So buckle up, relax, and enjoy the ride through my musings. They may or may not be often. May or may not be scientific. May or may not be emotional. But hopefully will be meaningful!

As we head into the new year, please make sure your insurance is active, as many plans change January 1. If you have questions, visit the Insurance & Financial Responsibilities tab on our website for helpful information!

Our office will be closed Wednesday 12/31 and Thursday 01/01, and we’ll return Friday, January 2nd.

If your little one has been extra sneezy or rubbing their eyes lately, you’re not imagining it – this week’s allergy report for East Tennessee is running high.

What’s up right now:
-Grass & w**d pollens are peaking
-Mold spores are moderate
-Ragw**d is starting to creep in

What you can do:
•Keep windows closed on breezy days
•Change clothes and wash hands/face after outdoor play
•Talk to us if your child is struggling – early treatment can make a huge difference!

Allergy season in our region can be tough on kids, but we’re here to help them breathe easier.
