This Memorial Day weekend we’re doing something a little different at Blue Scarab. 🇺🇸
Saturday, May 23rd We’re opening the shop for a quieter, appointment-only experience focused on giving back, slowing things down, and creating a more comfortable environment for anyone who has ever wanted a more private tattoo or piercing appointment.
Whether you’re a veteran, active duty, a family member, or simply someone who prefers a calmer experience, this event is for you ❤️🤍💙
HERE’S THE DEAL:
• 10% OFF tattoos & piercings for current and former service members
• Piercing discounts extended to immediate family of service members
• Custom tattoos OR flash tattoos available
(Flash designs coming soon 👀)
• Appointment-only tattooing & piercing services
• 15% of ALL proceeds donated to a local veterans nonprofit organization. Our official nonprofit partner will be announced before the event once finalized.
One thing we’re especially excited for is
🚨PRIVATE PIERCING APPOINTMENTS🚨
We normally operate walk-in based for piercings, so this is a great opportunity for anyone wanting a more relaxed, personalized experience. Nervous about getting pierced? Want to ask questions without feeling rushed or sitting in a crowded lobby? This is your chance.
Piercing appointments will be booked in private 30-minute time slots with space for up to TWO clients and up to 4 piercings per appointment. Bring your best friend, sister, mom, significant other, or just someone to hype you up.
ALL appointments must be scheduled by Friday, May 22th.
Appointments are first come, first served.

Non-refundable deposits required to book, (deposits go towards your total cost):
Tattoo deposit: $50
Piercing deposit: $20

If Saturday fills completely, we’ll open Sunday appointments as well!

🚨Drum roll please… the moment we’ve been waiting for!🚨
You guys blew our minds last weekend. Together, we raised $1,165 for AROO Animal Rescue & Outreach Org to support St. Mary's County Animal Services.💙
We honestly don’t even know how to put this weekend into words. You guys showed up, hung out, waited, got tattooed and pierced, donated, and just fully supported what we were trying to do here. The amount of love in the shop all weekend was insane.
We genuinely adore our community and the support you gave this event. It meant so much to all of us, and we’re really grateful to be able to do something like this for a genuinely good cause.
Every single person who came through, shared the event, or even just told a friend played a part in this, and we appreciate it more than you know. Give yourselves a pat on the back, seriously!
You all made this happen. We’re thrilled to have been a part of it. This turned into something really special.
We hope to see you all at the next Misfits for Mutts! 🐾💙💙

In more positive news…..
Stay tuned for a final update on how Misfits for Mutts turned out! But we will say it was an OVERWHELMING success!! We cannot thank everyone who came out and supported the shelter enough. We have a soft spot for pets and can’t wait to do that again!
