Based on a true story. There is an OB at a local hospital that looooooves to tell the story of a baby that got a GBS infection from placenta encapsulation and died. This is not true. If it was the news would have had a field day with it.

The moral to this story is don’t trust everything your provider says. If it sounds outlandish as for supporting literature. This goes for everything, not just placenta encapsulation.
