Our services include Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (ONMM), Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Behavioral Hea

lth, Laboratory Services, Radiology, Ultrasound, Bone Density Testing, Social Services, Culinary Medicine, Certified Diabetes Education, and Asthma Care. RCBC also provides a site for WVSOM faculty to practice and conducts research and offers clinical training opportunities for future osteopathic physicians. 👉 What’s one thing you love about working in a healthcare clinic in a small-town community like Lewisburg?
"One thing I've always found appealing about working in a clinic setting in a small-town community like Lewisburg is the community-driven focus we offer to patients and partners alike. We have a unique patient-provider connection here at Robert C. Byrd Clinic, along with deep ties to the community through partnerships like WVSOM and events such as the Farmers Market hosted right on our grounds."

👉 What inspired you to work in patient care and customer service?
"What inspired me was the unique community I've had the pleasure of serving throughout my life. There's an unwritten rule with small-town living that everybody knows everybody, and that creates a special connection you don't find everywhere. Being part of a team that provides care and support to our community is incredibly fulfilling."

👉 What makes this clinic feel like more than just a workplace?
"I can't begin to express the friendliness and willingness to help that everyone here shows every day. Knowing I have support around every corner motivates me to come to work and give my best. The teamwork and encouragement here make all the difference."

👉 Now that spring is in the air, where's your favorite local spot to grab coffee, lunch, or enjoy the sunshine?
"There is nothing like lunch at Hill and Holler in downtown Lewisburg. If you haven't been there yet, put it on your list. The food is wonderful, the staff is fantastic, and it's one of the most beautiful dining settings in town."

👉 With the weather warming up and routines shifting, what's one simple health habit you wish more people prioritized?
"Staying hydrated! I'm guilty of forgetting sometimes myself, but as temperatures rise and summer approaches, making sure you're drinking enough water is absolutely essential."

👉 Best way to spend a warm spring day off in Greenbrier County?
"I love taking my family to the Greenbrier River Trail in Caldwell. The views are beautiful, it's a great way to stay active, and there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy kayaking and the outdoors."

👉 What do you value most about working in a small-town clinic like Lewisburg?
“What I value most about working in a small-town clinic is the genuine sense of community you see in everyday interactions. Everyone has such natural kindness, and something as simple as a good morning or a friendly smile can go a long way.”

👉What inspired you to work in healthcare?
“I was drawn to healthcare because I’ve always had a natural pull toward helping people feel supported and cared for. There’s something really special and meaningful about being able to step into someone’s day and make things a little easier, even in small ways.”

👉What makes this clinic feel like more than just a workplace?
“What makes the clinic feel more like a workplace is how we all show up for each other. Whether it’s jumping in when it gets busy or someone cracking a joke when the day gets heavy — we’re always there for each other. It feels like one big family.”

👉What’s your go-to spot in Lewisburg for coffee, lunch, or a treat?
“My favorite place to grab coffee is probably my kitchen — I just like the way I make it. I love to sit on my back porch, listen to the birds, and enjoy God’s beautiful creation.”

👉What’s one simple health habit you wish more people prioritized?
“With the warmer weather, one of the simplest habits people overlook is just taking a walk outside. Going to a local park or lake and finding a trail is so relaxing. And staying hydrated — really making sure you’re drinking enough water throughout the day.”

👉Best way to spend a day off in Greenbrier County?
“The best way to spend a warm day off is visiting the Monongahela National Forest, especially Lake Sherwood or Blue Bend. It’s peaceful, you can disconnect, and just be present. I love being outdoors and soaking in the sun.”
