Once we begin listening for the spark of creativity, a new question emerges: how do we follow it without needing to know exactly where it will lead? In this conversation, we’ll explore play, experimentation, and curiosity as essential parts of creative living. Through short readings, guided reflection, and small-group conversation, we’ll consider how creative ideas often grow through trying, tinkering, wandering, and allowing ourselves to be surprised. Together, we’ll look at how play can loosen perfectionism, how experimentation can build creative trust, and how small, low-pressure creative actions can help us follow the thread of what feels alive.
Creative Living: A Community Conversation Series is a FREE monthly gathering exploring creativity, connection, and meaningful conversation. Guided by Vera V. Chapman, Ph.D., each session invites participants to reflect on themes such as identity, joy, change, intuition, and belonging through readings, reflection, and discussion. Open to artists and non-artists alike, these welcoming gatherings encourage us to slow down, connect, and explore creativity as a way of living more thoughtfully and intentionally.
