🌟🏅 Special Olympics Highlights from Orono, Maine! 🏅🌟

Last weekend, some of the wonderful individuals we serve attended and participated in the Special Olympics in Orono, and what an amazing time it was! From proud smiles and medals to laughter, cheering, and unforgettable moments, it was such a joy to see everyone thriving, participating, and having a blast. 💙

A huge congratulations to all of our participants! Your hard work, courage, and joyful spirits were shining bright, and we are so proud of each and every one of you. 🎉👏

🌸May is bringing lots of fun, friendship, and community connection!

We have some exciting activities planned, including our Spring Fling Dance & Karaoke, Ladies Coffee Chats, and an Ice Cream Social. We are also looking forward to cheering everyone on at the Special Olympics Regional Event at Edward Little High School on May 12!

We can’t wait to celebrate the season together with music, laughter, connection, and plenty of smiles. Here’s to a joyful May! 🌷🍦🎤

We had such a wonderful time celebrating our very first Easter gathering in our new office space. 🐰💐

From sweet smiles with Ms. Patricia Rabbit--to lots of fun decorating delicious cupcakes, it was a day full of laughter, joy, and togetherness. We are so thankful for all of the amazing individuals we support who joined us for this special celebration, and for the staff who showed up in full bunny spirit to help make it so memorable!

Moments like these remind us just how special it is to come together, make memories, and simply enjoy one another. Thank you to everyone who helped make this Easter celebration such a blast. We cannot wait for the next one! 🧁🐣💙

🌸🐰 April is here, and we’re kicking it off with something sweet! 🧁🌷

Our April Activity Calendar is officially live, and we hop to see everyone TODAY at our Easter Egg Hunt & Cupcake Decorating from 2:00–4:00PM!

There will be treats, laughter, a little creativity… and rumor has it 🐇✨ a special visit may be in store from the Easter Bunny!!

March has approached where it should feel like spring, but here in Maine the snow keeps showing up like it missed the memo. ❄️🌷 One day we’re dreaming of sunshine, the next we’re brushing off another dusting of snow! With that said, we’re excited to share our March Activity Calendar!

While March may be a bit quieter than some of our busier months, every activity is another opportunity to come together, share some laughs, and enjoy time with one another. Even the quieter months have their own kind of magic. They give us space to connect, create, and plan for all the exciting things ahead. ✨

Love was shining a little brighter this month. 💘

Just before Valentine’s Day, some of our incredible individuals, gathered to create heart-shaped “stained glass” art, and the results were absolutely beautiful! Each piece reflects creativity, patience, and the unique spark every person brings to our community. ✨

We treasure these moments together. Activities like this are more than crafts, they are connection, confidence, laughter, and shared joy.

We would love to see even more faces at our upcoming events. There is always a seat at the table and something meaningful to create! 💙

❄️ Due to the impending storm, our main office will be closed today, Monday, February 23rd.

However, our team will be working remotely and remains fully available from 8:00AM to 4:00PM to assist you. We are committed to continuing operations safely from our homes while ensuring uninterrupted support and communication.

All trainings scheduled for today have been canceled. We have made every effort to contact employees who were scheduled to attend. If you were expecting to be in the office and have not yet connected with us, please reach out directly.

Support Solutions is seeking a full-time Residential Coordinator to oversee residential programs with operational excellence and person-centered leadership.

This role is for someone who can balance structure and heart ❤️

You will:
✔️ Supervise staff
✔️ Ensure regulatory compliance 📋
✔️ Support ISP and P*P processes
✔️ Conduct home visits
✔️ Participate in on-call rotation 📞
✔️ Serve as the steady presence when challenges arise...and more!
