May is mental health awareness month. Mental health is just as important as (and so connected to) our physical health. Recent data shows that people are experiencing higher levels of anxiety and depression than pre-pandemic. It’s ok to not be ok and to ask for help. Check in with your loved ones. Support policy changes that give people better access to mental health care.

Things feel harder than ever. You are NOT alone. Keep up with self-care and know that it will help even if it doesn’t make it all better. Reach out to a friend, family member, or a professional to talk about other ways to find support. Remind yourself that this too shall pass.
