It’s been 10 YEARS since we first started dating, and I can without a doubt say choosing you as my life partner and wife is the best decision I’ve ever made. This weekend was a special one. My wife and I decided to be untraditional and do a baby shower with men and women, and I’m so glad we did.

It was a truly amazing experience to be surrounded by all the people who have helped us get to where we are.

Feeling extremely grateful right now. Baby Boy is surrounded by amazing family and friends.

Your parents are as flawed as you are.

Sorry Mom and Dad, but it’s true. And I LOVE you for it.

We grow up thinking are parents are beyond human. It’s only when we grow up do we start to truly accept their flaws.

Parents are as flawed as the rest of us. When you accept this fact you start to understand your parents did the best they could with what they had.

This is freeing. It allows you to let go of the mistakes your parents make. To give them more grace for their flaws.
