→ Before your treatment: Your appointment starts with a consultation to discuss your skin concerns and goals. We’ll review your skincare routine, prep instructions, and make sure your skin is ready for treatment. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand to keep you comfortable during the procedure.
 
→ During treatment: SkinPen creates thousands of tiny microchannels in the skin to stimulate your body’s natural collagen and elastin production. Most patients describe the treatment as feeling scratchy or warm in certain areas, but very tolerable overall. Treatment usually takes about 30 minutes once numbing is complete.
 
→ After treatment: You can expect redness similar to a mild to moderate sunburn for the first 24 to 48 hours, along with some dryness or tightness as your skin begins to heal.
