Good morning! Happy Wednesday!

Having camera issues this morning Soo no reels unless I find a solution later in the day.

I was working on scripting the reel (or at least an outline for it) so I could cut out some of the "um.." pauses as I'm speaking and I found a notebook I'd taken notes in at a previous career conference. At the top I'd written, "Even when you don't know your why, just do the work."

I sat with this sentence this morning, and I have a different perspective than I had so many years earlier.

When I say "just do the work", I don't mean mindless tasks or busywork. Sometimes that can be helpful, yes, but that can't be your go-to. If you're in a rut, stuck in your head, or just overwhelmed, starting with a mindless task can be helpful, just enough to pull you out of wherever you're stuck.

For me it can be as simple as washing my face and putting a little makeup on. Nothing magic about it, but it does help me when I am being overly critical.

New beginnings

I decided at the end of March that I needed to finally show up for myself and for you.

When I made this decision, I decided to just delete this page and make a new one. Fresh start and all that, y'know?

Meta has for some reason decided that this new page is impersonating someone and I can't seem to get it straightened out.

I get in this headspace where I think, if I can't do it in whatever way I've decided, then I can't do it. After a team meeting last night, I realized, this all-or-nothing mindset isn't doing anyone any good.

So I'm back to here.

It seems appropriate. Go back to using the thing I started several years ago. The thing that my family and friends have supported. The thing my husband supported.

And that includes this original business page.

If you followed the new page, I want to let you know that we have a plot twist, everything will be back here where we started.

The website is still the same, and Mary Kay has improved the website!

Hello lovelies.

It’s been a while.

A long while.

I have never stopped my loyalty to Mary Kay, the products and the company.

I still use the products.

I’ve sold some products “on the go”.

But I have put very little consistent effort into the business itself.

With all the things that have gone on in my life, I feel like God, the universe, however you want to see it, is telling me, look at the gift you already have.

So I’m showing up for me.

And I’m showing up for you.

I want to show people that taking care of yourself is important.

There is nothing magic about skin care or cosmetics. There IS something magic about taking a few moments out of the day for some self care. You love from the overflow. You need to refill your cup from time to time.

I'm BA-AAAAACK!

I had a long post prepared but my cat accidentally vetoed it with her paw.
So, instead I'll just say, I'm back, I'm excited to be back, I'm excited for the new winter products, and I'm excited to have you along with me.
