Get To Know Your Provider! Meet Michelle Hendrix, PA-C 👋

A true Lexingtonian, Michelle earned her undergraduate degree from Transylvania University and completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Kentucky. She is board-certified by the NCCPA and brings a diverse clinical background to orthopedic care, with previous experience in ENT and sleep medicine.

Working alongside Dr. Eric Schafer, Michelle helps patients get back to the activities they love through personalized orthopedic care. She sees patients at our Lexington – Richmond Road and London locations and also provides care through BGONow Orthopedic Urgent Care for convenient, walk-in treatment of orthopedic injuries.

When she's not caring for patients, Michelle enjoys traveling with her husband and taking evening walks with her yellow lab. 🐾

⚠️POWER OUTAGE - Georgetown Clinic Closed ⚠️

10:25am Update - Due to the ongoing power outages, our Georgetown clinic will remain closed today, Wednesday, August 12th. Our team is actively working to contact all patients who had an appointment at our Georgetown clinic today. All other Bluegrass Orthopaedics locations have power and are operating as normal.

Due to the storms, our Georgetown clinic is currently without power. Our team is actively working to contact patients who were scheduled this morning to reschedule their appointments. If power is restored, we may be able to see patients for appointments this afternoon.
