Some people have a morning routine... Dawn has coffee. Everything else comes after that. ☕😄

If you've spent any time around Dawn, you know she's always ready to jump in wherever she's needed. Need someone to cover a coworker? Dawn's there. A challenging behavior pops up? Dawn's already on her way. Need a little positivity to brighten the day? She's got that covered too.

Outside of the clinic, Dawn is a proud mom of three and spends much of her time cheering on whatever sport her kids are currently obsessed with. If they're playing, she's watching. If there's coffee involved, even better! She's also a big fan of Oliver & Company and has one request for Mother Nature: please keep the freezing weather to yourself.

Dawn brings a smile, a helping hand, and a "we'll figure it out" attitude every single day. She's the kind of teammate who makes work a little easier, a little more fun, and a lot more positive for everyone around her.

Congratulations, Dawn, on being our July 2026 Employee of the Month! Thank you for always stepping up, keeping us smiling, and proving that coffee and kindness can accomplish just about anything. We're so lucky to have you on the Piece by Piece team!

I recently had the opportunity to learn more about Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, a growing service that provides valuable support to parents, families, educators, and caregivers who are helping children with behavioral and developmental challenges.

I had the pleasure of visiting with the director, staff, and team members at Piece by Piece Autism Therapy in Lexington. These dedicated professionals work tirelessly every day to help children develop the skills they need to become more confident, independent, and successful in the environments and circumstances they encounter.

Not only are organizations like this making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families, but they are also creating new job opportunities while helping address important needs within our community.

Thank you to the medical professionals, therapists, staff, and volunteers throughout the Blue Water Area for your commitment and the compassionate care you provide each and every day. Your work truly makes a difference.
