Going Home Celebration! ❤️🏡

After 38 nights at Ronald McDonald House Lexington, this sweet family is packing up and heading home! We’re so grateful we could be a part of their journey and are celebrating this exciting next chapter for their family. Here’s to being together, making memories, and getting back to the comfort of home! ❤️

In 2023, the Michalovics were overjoyed to learn they were expecting their first daughter, Madeline. But what began as a routine scan quickly turned into a frightening situation, leading to a dangerous surgery for both mom and baby nearly three hours away from home.

That’s when they found Ronald McDonald House Lexington. Suddenly, they had a place to stay, a support system to lean on, and a lot less to worry about while Madeline spent time in the NICU.

We’re so grateful we could be there for the Michalovic family when they needed us most. Now, we’re honored to share their story as a reminder of why this mission matters and how, together, we can continue supporting hundreds of families just like theirs. ❤️

What a night! McDazzle brought our community together for a special evening filled with generosity, gratitude, and a shared commitment to being the key to every family's welcome home. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our attendees, sponsors, volunteers, and team members, this was our BIGGEST McDazzle yet! 🎉 Together, we raised over $645,000 (and counting!), providing over 5,160 nights of comfort for families staying at Ronald McDonald House Lexington.🗝️

Today, we’re celebrating McDonald’s Thank You Day, a day dedicated to honoring our Founding and Forever Mission Partner. ❤️🍟

From the very beginning, McDonald’s said yes to families, and for more than 50 years, they’ve continued to say yes through every Shamrock Shake, every transaction rounded up, and every act of kindness from their crews and customers. Today, we say thank you to our local McDonald's Owner/Operators, GMs, crews, and so many more who continue to show up for Ronald McDonald House and help ensure family stays.💛🏠
