After Shruti’s stroke, there was no movement in her left arm at all.

Years later, she came to NeuroAnimation looking to regain function and continue challenging her brain through recovery.

During her second session, she regained movement in her wrist for the first time.

“It’s not functional yet, but it’s a step in the right direction.”

Recovery doesn’t always happen all at once. Sometimes it starts with a small change, a new movement, or a new connection that wasn’t there before.

This is what can happen when the brain is challenged in the right way and given the opportunity to adapt.

See what’s still possible with the brain regained, even years after stroke.

Stroke is one of the leading causes of long-term disability worldwide.

For many families, it happens in an instant. Everything can change without warning.

Movement can become more difficult.
Speech can feel out of reach.
Independence can start to shift.

But that’s not the full story.

Because what we continue to see, over and over again, is that the brain is still capable of change.

With the right kind of challenge, people can rebuild coordination, regain control, and reconnect with parts of themselves that once felt lost.

That’s the part of the story more people need to hear.

See what’s still possible.

NeuroAnimation CEO & Founder Dr. Omar Ahmad breaks down the mechanics of our revolutionary therapy.

From state-of-the-art body-mapping technology to activating the dentate gyrus through motor learning, it’s not just about “working out.” It’s about engaging the brain’s factory to create new neurons, improving balance, strength, and mental clarity.

After Osa’s stroke in 2020, her only way to communicate was blinking. Once for yes. Twice for no.

Now she’s pulling herself up, working on walking, and answering questions out loud without skipping a beat.

We asked if she was getting better. She looked right at us and said “better.” Just like that.

The brain doesn’t forget how to fight. Sometimes it just needs the right environment to do it.

“One of her goals was independence... and that meant freedom.”

Most recovery journeys feel like a grueling second job, but Dr. Akpata noticed a shift when her daughter, Osa, started her program at NeuroAnimation. The “work” of reclaiming her right side started to feel like fun.

When therapy feels less like a chore and more like a breakthrough, that’s when real progress happens. Osa isn’t just hitting milestones. She’s winning her freedom back, one high-five at a time.

If you’ve been told you’ve reached your limit, it’s time for a second opinion.

“I had just about lost hope; as a chronic stroke patient with hemiparesis there aren’t many options that work.”

Maddi came to NeuroAnimation praying for a miracle. She refused to accept that she had plateaued and was committed to making progress and getting her dominant hand back. And now, with NeuroAnimation, she is.

“It is so encouraging and motivating to see that I can still make significant gains nearly nine years post-stroke. This just proves that there is no limit to what our brains can do. Onward!”
