A little photo recap of the past 2 weeks! 💞🥹😭

We’ve been so blessed with all the love and support, both online and in our local community. We’ve had orders going out all around Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Colorado, New Jersey, New York, and Florida! 😭😭😭😭

We’ve also received so much love at our locations at Parker’s Mercantile, Mercado Libertad, and The Vinew Shoppe. We truly can’t thank you all enough for supporting our little family business and helping us share Papa Chilo’s remedies with so many people 🥹

And as of last week, Best of Liberty Hill nominations are officially live! Thank you to everyone who has already taken the time to nominate us for Best Artisan Vendor of Liberty Hill. It means so much to us! We’ll be making a separate post with more details soon. 🫶🏼

A little peek inside Parkers Mercantile 👏🏼👏🏼We’re SO excited to be part of this amazing new addition to our community!

Their grand opening is scheduled for September 4th so mark your calendars!!! (times will be announced on their official Instagram page), and we can’t wait to see this space come to life.

Parker’s Mercantile will be a place to gather, enjoy live music and delicious meals, and shop Texas-made merchandise and goods from local farms 🌾🎶

Yesterday, my aunt found this picture of my mom and my grandma, and it stopped me in my tracks.

When I was little in Mexico, my grandma would sing this song to us, but she had created her own version talking about a mother’s love. She loved to sing, and fun fact, music runs deep in our family. I love to sing too… I’m just not sure the talent made it all the way down to me 😂

The song I chose for this reel is that very song, which made putting these pictures together feel even more special.

What really gets me is that without knowing this picture was still around, my mom and I took a very similar photo together last year.

It felt like such a beautiful reflection of how we carry the generations before us. The songs they sang, the stories they told, the traditions they passed down, and the love they gave us all become part of who we are.

Same mother-daughter love. Another generation.

Fun fact: those beautiful yellow squash flowers *flor de calabaza* are actually a delicacy in Mexico 🌼 my family has always used them in quesadillas! They have a light, slightly sweet, almost squash-like flavor that’s soft and delicate.

This season is extra special for us, it’s our first time growing our own beans! 🫘 My husband and my mom both grew up around this, and now they’re teaching me. Getting to learn, grow, and carry on these traditions together means so much to me 💛
