Hope House At Hope House, we offer donors and advocates the opportunity to provide profoundly disabled individuals with the lifelong gift of a safe, loving, and family-centered home. Our mission is to ensure they receive the proper care, treatment, and supervision they need to thrive—creating a forever home where they are cherished and supported for life.

Most of the children who came here in 1966 are still living here today as Seniors. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.

A huge thank you to the Liberty Hill FFA members for your generosity and hard work! We are so grateful for the wonderful collection of useful items you gathered for Hope House.

Our kids are going to love the coloring books, crayons, and backpacks,etc. and our staff is especially needing the cleaning supplies and other essentials. Your thoughtfulness and kindness will make a real difference in the lives of the children and adults we serve every day.

Thank you for thinking of our Hope House family and for sharing your hearts with our kids. We truly appreciate each and every one of you! ❤️💙

🎉 Today, we’re making a little noise for Erland!

Not only is it his birthday, but this year marks 10 years of Erland serving Hope House.

When Erland arrived a decade ago, Hope House was barely hanging on financially. The future was uncertain. So Erland did what Erland does. He started building relationships. He shared the story of our residents. He invited people to see the need. And he taught us something that has shaped the way we do development ever since:

The relationship is more important than the transaction.

Because of that philosophy, so many people who first came to Hope House as donors and supporters have become something much more.

They’ve become family.

Looking back over these 10 years, Erland described the journey as “one miracle after the next.” And he’s been right in the middle of so many of them.

His passion for our residents, his relentless follow-through, and his ability to invite people into this mission have helped build a foundation that now has Hope House preparing to do something that once seemed impossible:

Say YES to more kids living with profound intellectual disabilities.

Hope House has been serving this community for 60 years, and Erland has made an incredible mark on that story. There are residents whose lives have been changed because someone chose to give. There are supporters who discovered a mission they now call their own. There are people who walked through our doors as donors and became family.

And there is a future being built today because Erland spent the last decade faithfully building relationships, one person at a time.

Happy Birthday, Erland. Congratulations on 10 years of service.

Thank you for believing in this mission, loving our residents, and reminding all of us that this work has always been about people.
