Late post from our Ohana Week recap! 💚 From Superhero Day 🦸 to Champions Day, Shine & Sparkle ✨, Aloha Attire Day 🌺, and One Ohana 🤙, our Kauaʻi Adult Day Health 'ohana had a good time with all the fun activities, games, and music throughout the week. Seeing our kūpuna smile and enjoying every moment together is what it’s all about. Every day should stay like this!

Starting May with fresh flowers, warm smiles, and plenty of aloha. On May 1, our friends spent the day making flower leis surrounded by laughter, stories, music, and joy. Everyone enjoyed sharing time together with staff and friends. Special thank you to the ‘Ae Kamali’i Preschool students and staff for the materials to make flower leis and the beautiful flowers.

✅ Build strength: Chair squats, leg lifts, and wall push-ups support everyday movements.
✅ Improve balance: Heel-to-toe walks, toe stands, or marching in place help prevent falls.
✅ Stay flexible: Gentle stretches ease stiffness and keep joints moving.
✅ Boost endurance: Walking, seated marches, or biking support heart and lung health.

🐌 🏁 Start slow, use support, and check with your doctor or Physical Therapist for guidance. It’s never too late to build strength and confidence at home. ♥️

🎄✨ Celebrating Our Ohana ✨🎄

We were honored to celebrate our incredible employees at the annual OPH O’ahu Christmas party! From delicious food and dancing to games, contests, and amazing prizes, the evening was filled with laughter, gratitude, and plenty of holiday cheer.

A special highlight of the celebration was recognizing Ohana Pacific Health’s 2025 Ohana Champion, a team member who was nominated and voted by their peers for consistently going above and beyond the call of duty. Their dedication, compassion, and commitment truly reflect the heart of our Ohana.

Big congratulations to, 2025 Ohana Champion, Connie Rita, Maintenance Manager at Hale Kūpuna Heritage Home!! She is known to always go above and beyond, and she even helped organize the beautiful decorations at the Christmas party.

Mahalo to all our team members for the care you provide and the heart you bring to our community every day. We are so grateful for you. 💙
