Being of service to others has always been my passion...
Guess what though? I am human, just like everyone else, which means I also have my own share of sh*t to deal with 🤪
BUT that doesn’t take away my ability to be of service to others. Having “life problems” doesn’t take away our ability to do what we love, it just means we have to push a little harder, which in turn really just makes us that much BETTER.
When we learn to separate those problems and use them to our advantage, our abilities/gifts/passion become enhanced, because now we know we are working directly from the heart.
How I do this, is by allowing myself to feel all the feels outside of my work, exploring it, and not suppressing a thing really helps me come back and be able to use what life has taught me, I’ll use that to teach someone else, or use it in some way inside of my work. And that right there is where I separate and then use “life’s problems” to my advantage!
One way you can do what I do is by simply allowing yourself to cry, in the shower, on a hike, wherever, let yourself feel everything, allow your mind to go through where it needs to go and explore. It is healthy to allow yourself to feel it all, just remember to not allow yourself to stay in a problematic place mentally, and that’s the most important part. Because if you feel stuck in that place, it is a sign that it’s time to ask for help. Please, remember to never be ashamed to ask for help, because asking for help is also HEALTHY!
Energy and emotions are powerful and connected! And we get to choose how we handle it! At the end of the day, everyone works differently and that’s OK! Remember to just be mindful and aware of yourself and your emotional and mental health. Have “life’s problems” helped you? What do you feel you could do differently?
