Before assumptions start flying around — New Skin’s shop minimum has always been $70. 🖤
If someone received work cheaper years ago from a former artist, that was their personal choice at that time, not a recent change to shop policy. Current artists are expected to follow shop pricing set by management so pricing stays fair and consistent across the board.
We completely understand if our pricing isn’t within everyone’s comfort zone, and there’s no hard feelings at all. But quality work, proper sterilization, professional supplies, licensing, setup, breakdown, and experience all come at a cost — even for small tattoos.
Cheap tattoos are everywhere. Good tattoos done safely are worth investing in. ✨

Hey, I’m Jayde — a tattoo apprentice working under Jim, going into my 2nd year of apprenticeship, with years of self-taught art experience behind me before stepping into the professional side of the industry 🎨🖋️
I’m also apprenticing under Beth for piercing 🔩✨ while continuing to master both the art of tattooing and proper piercing techniques one day at a time. From sanitation and placement to artistic flow and custom design, I’m learning every part of the craft hands-on inside the shop 🖤

With over 11 years of tattooing experience, Tnell is a self-taught artist whose creativity reaches far beyond tattooing. From drawing and painting to oil pastels and custom artwork, art has always been part of who he is. After attending two art schools and years of sharpening his craft, he’s built a reputation for being versatile, passionate, and dedicated to bringing every client’s vision to life.
From anime and fine line work to florals, black & grey, color pieces, and custom designs — Tnell does it all. His attention to detail, artistic style, and ability to adapt to different concepts make him an incredible addition to the shop.
At New Skin, we believe tattoos should be more than ink — they should be art that tells a story. And Tnell brings exactly that energy to the table. 🔥

We’ve got the balloons up, the books out, the shop glowing, and the chaos beautifully organized… mostly. 😅✨
For everyone asking — YES, we still have extra coloring books available for purchase!
They will continue being sold until they are completely gone. Once they’re gone, that’s it. No secret stash hidden behind the counter like a gremlin treasure chest. 👀📚
