Today we say goodbye to our Program Manager, Jason Lafontaine, as he begins a new adventure relocating to southern NH. 🏡

Over the past 4️⃣ years, Jason has been an great asset to NEDS. His dedication to our athletes, volunteers, and programs has made a lasting impact on so many within the NEDS community. While we’re sad to see him go, we’re grateful for everything he has contributed to the organization.

The good news — Jason plans to return as a volunteer whenever he can, so this isn’t truly goodbye! 🙌

As part of the transition, our new Program Manager, Adam Swank, has been working closely with Jason over the past month to ensure a smooth handoff heading into the summer season.

Please join us in thanking Jason for his years of hard work and wishing him the very best in this next chapter! ✨💥

Earlier this month, we were stoked to be an exhibitor at the 42nd Annual Brain Injury & Stroke Conference in Concord, NH.

It was a productive day for NEDS, with time spent connecting with healthcare professionals and peer organizations, while also attending several valuable educational sessions throughout the day.

These opportunities help strengthen our partnerships, deepen our understanding of participant needs, and support our ongoing work in adaptive recreation and sport.

Thank you to the organizers and everyone who stopped by the booth or connected with us during the conference.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness gave us the freedoms we enjoy every day.

At NEDS, we are especially grateful for the Veterans and military families who are part of our community. We are proud to provide opportunities for Veterans with disabilities to get back outdoors, build connections, and rediscover the joy of sport.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember those we have lost and thank all who have served. 🇺🇸

The Bowhead Corp RXs have officially made their first voyage — nothing like hitting the trails after a rainstorm to keep the dust down, even if it means things get a little rough out there. 🚵‍♂️🌧️

Muddy, bumpy, and full of character — the season is underway. Adventure starts where the pavement ends. Who’s ready to hit the trails with us this summer? 🌲☀️

Freshly cleaned. Organized. Ready for...dare we say–winter. ❄️🧥

The snow is gone, but behind the scenes at NEDS we’re still wrapping up from an incredible winter season while getting ready for summer lessons right around the corner. ☀️❄️

Freshly laundered volunteer coach jackets are cleaned, organized, and back in their lockers thanks to Delia, our fab Office Coordinator. 💙

From winter clean-up to summer prep, there’s always something happening behind the scenes to keep our programs moving forward. We can’t wait to welcome athletes, volunteers, and families back for another season of adventure.
