We're looking for presenters for our 2026 FREE CE series!

Presenting is a great way to showcase your knowledge, support your professional community, and earn a $150 honorarium.

Here's what you need to know:
✨ Choose a topic you're passionate about.
💻 Present live via Zoom or submit a prerecorded session.
📝 Create a 10-question quiz to accompany your presentation.
👥 Presenters must be current NCA members (or, for co-presenters, at least one presenter must be a current NCA member).

Only 5 DAYS until Lobby Day guys and gals!! EEK!

Day 5 info focuses on preparing for Lobby Day. Remember on Day 2 when we found our senators? Today we are going to go one step further, and make an appointment to see your senator on March 6th. It is important to make an appointment, as often senators are busy. Making an appointment helps to make sure they are available.

If you missed out on Day 2, here is the link to find your senator:

Once you have found your senator, click the "Web Page" box below their picture. Once on their page, their contact information is available on the upper right hand corner, including where their office is inside the Capitol Building. Be sure to keep track of that room number! (But don't worry if you lose it, that's what we are here for on Lobby Day). Feel free to email or call your senator, and schedule a time to speak with them on March 6th, between 10:00am and noon.

📣 Licensed Counselors: Call for Proposals!

The Nebraska Counseling Association is inviting licensed counselors to submit presentation proposals for the 2026 NCA Annual Conference, happening April 24, 2026 in Bellevue, NE.

We are prioritizing presentations focused on:
✔️ Ethics (licensure-relevant content encouraged)
✔️ Major mental illness diagnosis and/or assessment

🕘 90-minute breakout sessions designed for in-depth clinical learning.
📅 Proposal deadline: March 2, 2026
