Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Jeri, our AT Specialist and assistive technology hero! 💪

With 25 years in Special Education, including 10 years with ATP Education, Jeri brings a wealth of experience and a passion for helping educators find the right AT tools to support student success.

Based in Cozad, NE, Jeri works with schools across Nebraska and has helped countless educators discover assistive technology solutions that make a difference.

And when she’s not helping others, Jeri enjoys exploring Nebraska’s beautiful backroads, spending time with her two grandchildren, and cheering on her favorite band—she’s a lifelong Duran Duran super-fan! 🎶

We’re so lucky to have Jeri on the ATP Education team! 💙

We’re excited to introduce Kim, one of the amazing Assistive Technology Specialists on the ATP Education Program team! Kim brings a wealth of experience in early childhood and special education, along with a passion for helping educators across Nebraska find the right tools and strategies to support learners of all ages.

When she’s not supporting educators, Kim enjoys giving back to her community as a longtime 4-H horse club leader and local saddle club board member. We’re so lucky to have Kim on our team and grateful for all she does to help Nebraska educators and students succeed! 🐴💪

Bookshare has made some exciting updates to help make reading more accessible this school year!

✨ **Natural reading voices** — Meet Nora, a new human-like reading voice now available in the Bookshare Reader mobile app.

🔐 **Sign in with Google** — Students can use their school Google account to access Bookshare without remembering another password.

🎛️ **New access options** — Educators have more flexibility in how students access books, including Safe Search and Individual Membership options.

⠃ **Improved braille & accessible math** — Updates make Bookshare even more useful for students who are blind or have low vision, including those working in STEM.
