American Airlines shame on you! When you assume a person with Down syndrome can’t, you deprive them the opportunity to try. She has successfully done it in the past. She is capable. If you can provide support to unaccompanied minors you can provide support to adults with disabilities if needed. In this case everything was in place. This type of discrimination is not ok in 2026.
