There are three chances to practice yoga with me this week!

Is becoming more flexible one of your summer goals? When I started doing yoga, I couldn't even touch my toes and after a few weeks, I was delighted to find that my fingertips would find the mat in every forward fold! it was so exciting and kept me motivated to continue my practice because I felt so good in my body. I would love to show you how you can do this as well.

Due to feedback received, I've decided to change the time of the Sunday Beginner Flow class from 10:30 to 9AM! I really hope to see you there.

Beginner Flow is now 9-10AM on Sundays at Yoga Together. Classes are $15 cash or Venmo.

Got some work done on my little baby raised bed today! I didn't like the way I had haphazardly planted some starts and didn't even bother planting any seeds so I decided to completely redo it. Can you tell nearly all the signs in my birth chart are mutable? 😅

I do square foot gardening hence the sticks helping me mark out my "squares". Now I have planted carrots, beets, spinach, and green onions! I'm so excited to be able to go out to the garden and pick things for a salad later this summer 💚

Had some time in between clients today so I grabbed some early lunch at MoJava. Usually my habit is to hurry and snarf my food and hurry back. Not today. Today I am enjoying the hour I have and savoring my food and coffee and enjoying the music and general vibe of the place.

I was talking to a friend about self-care and how as bodyworkers we need to take care of ourselves so we can be there for our clients. This is what my practice looks like today.

Thanks to everyone who came to my workshop today! I love talking about Ayurveda and the way it helps us take care of outselves. Self-care rituals are a great addition to anyone's routine and I definitely could have talked for a lot longer!

Get your body moving this week! Spring is the time to shake of the stagnation of winter and some mindful yoga is a great way to do that. Hope to see you on the mat!

Please sign up before class if you can. Space is limited for in-person classes but we still offer Zoom classes so you can move in the comfort of your own home!

I woke up around 2am with an awful migraine that kept me up for hours until I could finally fall back asleep. I recently got a deck of Self-Care wisdom cards and thought it was the perfect day to pull a card.

Surrender. Just what I needed. For years, I would just power through my day saving calling in for when it was REALLY bad. Today, I looked at my schedule and decided to block off my last couple of appointments so I could take tonight to rest and recover. My to-do list has been pared down to accommodate my lower energy today. It's taken me years to learn to slow down and honor my body and what I need.

All part of the journey. How's your energy today and how are you honoring it?
