Heat exhaustion can happen quickly—especially during these hot Texas days. Knowing the warning signs and taking simple precautions can help keep you and your loved ones safe.

💧 Stay hydrated.
🧢 Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing.
🌳 Take breaks in the shade or air conditioning.
👵 Check on older adults, neighbors, and those with chronic health conditions.
🚨 If someone experiences dizziness, heavy sweating, nausea, or weakness, move them to a cool place, offer water, and seek medical attention if symptoms worsen.
