The principle of Reiki is to revitalize the body, bringing it back into harmony through the channeling of "life force energy." This energy flows throughout everything that exists, it gives us life. Insufficient, weak, or blocked energy in the body can contribute to emotional, mental, physical health problems, sickness, stress, etc. Through simple hand placements on the body, this energy is transmitted from the practitioner to the client.
