Now enrolling for September.

Here’s what I keep hearing: “I’m doing everything I
did at 35 and my body just isn’t responding anymore.”

You’re not imagining that. After 40 the rules genuinely
change. Insulin sensitivity drops. Muscle gets harder
to hold onto. Cortisol stops behaving. Estrogen stops
buffering all the things it used to quietly handle for
you.

So the old approach stops working — not because you got
lazy, but because the conditions changed and nobody
handed you the update.

The 12-Week Metabolic Reset is that update.

One change a week, in an order that builds. We start
with your environment, then food, then protein and
blood sugar, then sleep, stress, movement, and finally
the systems that make it stick. By week twelve you’re
not following a program. It’s just how you eat and
live now.

What we work on:
🌿 Balancing blood sugar and hormones
🌿 Energy that actually holds through the afternoon
🌿 Clearing the brain fog
🌿 Habits that survive the holidays instead of
collapsing in December

And no — it’s not a diet. No calorie counting, no food
rules, no 30-day challenge you white-knuckle and then
abandon.

Starting now means you go into the new year steadier
than you came out of this one. That’s the whole reason
September beats January.

Message me and we’ll talk about whether it’s the right
fit for you. Free call, no pressure either way.

BPA-free doesn’t always mean worry-free.

Some BPA-free plastics use replacement chemicals like BPS or BPF, which is why I encourage my clients to look beyond the label and pay attention to what their everyday products are actually made from.

When it comes to your daily water bottle, keep it simple: glass or stainless steel are my top choices.

Small swaps. Less exposure. Better choices over time.

Some weeks hold both — the sting and the sweetness.

Loss and laughter. Heartache and gratitude. Moments that remind us how fragile life can be, and others that remind us just how precious it is.

Maybe wellness isn’t about creating a life untouched by hard things. Maybe it’s learning to stay present enough to receive the good that is still here — to care for the body we’ve been given, love our people well, notice the small gifts, and trust God through all of it.

We don’t have to call the painful things good. We can grieve what hurts and still be grateful for what remains.

Don’t become so focused on the sting that you miss the sweetness. 🤍

“Taste and see that the Lord is good.”

Stress isn’t just something you feel—it creates a very real physiological response in the body.

Adaptogens are herbs that can help the body better adapt to stress and support a healthier stress response over time.

Three of my favorites:

• Ashwagandha — supports healthy cortisol levels and promotes a sense of calm
• Rhodiola rosea — may help with stress-related fatigue, mental performance and resilience
• Holy basil (Tulsi) — supports the body’s stress response and emotional balance

The goal isn’t to eliminate cortisol—we need it. The goal is to support a healthy cortisol rhythm and a more resilient nervous system.

As always, supplements are not one-size-fits-all. What works beautifully for one person may not be appropriate for another.

What are your health non-negotiables?

Not the things you do when life is calm, your schedule is perfect, and motivation is high. The things you protect when life gets HARD.

Maybe it’s morning sunlight. Protein at every meal. A daily walk. Hydration. Getting to bed on time.

In The 12-Week Metabolic Reset, I talk about identifying your non-negotiables AND your “minimum effective dose”—the few habits that keep you anchored even during your hardest weeks.

Because long-term health isn’t built during the perfect weeks.

It’s built by what you refuse to abandon during the hard ones.

What are YOUR non-negotiables?

You can eat perfectly and exercise every day—but if you’re living in chronic stress, your metabolism is dealing with that too.

Here’s why.

When your brain continually perceives stress, your stress-response system keeps signaling hormones like cortisol and adrenaline.

Over time, chronic stress can disrupt sleep, affect blood-sugar regulation and insulin sensitivity, change appetite and food cravings, interfere with digestion, and make maintaining healthy body composition more difficult.

And here’s what we forget: your stressor doesn’t have to be a physical emergency.

It can be the relationship that constantly drains you. Financial worry. Work stress. Doom-scrolling the news. Or living every day feeling like you’re behind.

That’s why I tell my clients: setting boundaries isn’t selfish. It’s metabolic.

Your nutrition matters. Your exercise matters. But the environment you’re asking your body to live in matters, too.

I wrote something in The 12-Week Reset that I needed to be reminded of myself this week:

“My own transformation—physical, emotional, and spiritual—did not come from having everything figured out. It came from a series of surrenders.”

There are seasons when we want God to show us the entire plan before we’re willing to take the next step. But faith doesn’t always work that way.

Sometimes He asks us to surrender the outcome, release what we were never meant to control, and simply be obedient with what is right in front of us.

You don’t have to see where God is taking you to trust that He knows the way.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5–6

Your supplements can support your health—but they can’t replace the foundations!

You can’t out-supplement poor sleep, lack of movement, chronic stress, inadequate nutrition, or a life that leaves no room to breathe.

Before adding another pill or powder, come back to the basics:

☀️ Get the morning light.
🥗 Eat real, nourishing food.
🏃‍♀️ Move your body.
😴 Protect your sleep.
🌿 Spend time outside.
❤️ Invest in people you love.
🙏 Make room for purpose, boundaries, and quiet.

Supplements are supplemental. The foundation comes first.

Save this as your reminder to get back to the basics.

Has alcohol suddenly stopped agreeing with you in your 40s or 50s?
You’re not imagining it.

Alcohol affects women differently than men—and during perimenopause and menopause, you may notice those effects even more.

It can disrupt sleep, worsen hot flashes or night sweats for some women, affect mood, and leave you feeling a whole lot less resilient the next day.

If that glass of wine suddenly doesn’t feel the way it used to, pay attention. Your body may be giving you some useful information.

You don’t necessarily have to swear off alcohol forever—but it might be worth experimenting with less and seeing how you feel.

Weight loss was never supposed to be the whole goal.

Especially in midlife, we need to be asking better questions: Are we preserving muscle? Protecting bone? Supporting metabolic health? Maintaining the strength and independence we want decades from now?

GLP-1s can be a powerful tool, but losing weight and getting healthier are not automatically the same thing.

The goal isn’t simply a smaller body. It’s a stronger, healthier, more resilient body for the years ahead.

If you’re navigating weight loss, GLP-1s, or the changes that come with midlife and you’re not sure how to protect your health in the process, DM me. I’d love to help.
