Myth or Fact? Bruising means something went wrong. ❌ Myth.

Bruising after filler or injectable treatments is actually one of the most common and expected side effects. Even with the best technique, tiny blood vessels can be nicked during treatment, causing temporary bruising and it doesn’t mean your provider did anything wrong. Everyone bruises differently based on their anatomy, medications, supplements, and even where they’re at in their menstrual cycle. Most bruising fades within 7–14 days, so a little discoloration is usually just part of the healing process, not a sign that something went wrong.
