As many of you know, I truly value the relationships I build with each and every client. I understand that life happens, emergencies come up, and schedules sometimes change unexpectedly. ❤️
However, I also want to be honest about how no-shows and last-minute cancellations affect both my practice and other clients who are waiting for appointments. I currently have a waiting list for both new clients and follow-up visits, and when appointments are missed without enough notice, that time cannot usually be filled for someone else in need.
In order to continue serving everyone fairly and respectfully, I will now be implementing a policy requiring a credit card to be kept on file for all clients. Cards will only be charged according to the cancellation/no-show fees already outlined in the cancellation policy that is signed when scheduling a new appointment.
My goal is never to penalize anyone, but rather to protect appointment availability for all clients while also respecting the time and preparation that goes into each visit.
