Arkansas Colleges of Health Education (ACHE) has announced the appointment of Christopher Loyke, DO, FACOFP, Dean of the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (ARCOM), as Interim Designated Institutional Official (DIO).
Dr. Loyke previously served as Executive Dean of the Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and held several graduate medical education leadership positions at University Hospitals Parma Medical Center, including Designated Institutional Official, Director of Medical Education, and Program Director. As Interim DIO, he will oversee ARCOM's ACGME-accredited residency programs, chair the Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC), and work with program directors, institutional leadership, and participating sites to ensure compliance with ACGME standards.
A graduate of the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Loyke is a retired Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve and practiced family medicine for more than 20 years. His appointment reflects ACHE's ongoing commitment to supporting high-quality graduate medical education and the continued development of ARCOM's residency programs.
