It is our privilege to announce that the 2026 Beards & Blue Ribbons honoree is William Clark. A Little Rock native and founder and CEO of Clark Contractors, William has spent three decades building not just a company but the institutions this state depends on. He shows up; he has shown up for the men of Arkansas and for this foundation for years, quietly and without needing credit for it. On November 5, we get to say thank you out loud. One in eight men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime. In a lot of Arkansas, the nearest free screening is an hour's drive and a day's lost wages away. That is the gap the Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation exists to close. Free PSA screenings in the communities where they are hardest to come by. Every dollar raised at Beards & Blue Ribbons goes back into that work.

We kicked off the day at our annual press conference announcing the Governor’s proclamation making September Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Thank you to Malvern High, Catholic High & Searcy High for allowing your football players to attend and represent our blue ribbon campaign. We also loved listening to APCF supporters, Dr. Bigarella, Morris Williams, and Muskie Harris.
If you need a free PSA screening, please visit our website to see when we will be near you. We have over 45 locations scheduled over the next two months and we are constantly adding and updating the list. It’s only a quick blood draw and could save your life.

One in eight men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime. In Arkansas it is the most-diagnosed cancer among men, and Black men are more than twice as likely to die from it.

Caught early, it is highly treatable. That is the whole game and that is what Ribs, Bibs & Blues pays for: free screenings, patient navigation and financial help for Arkansas men.

January 2, 1978. Arkansas walks into the Orange Bowl a 24-point underdog with three starters suspended. A sophomore named Roland Sales carries 22 times for 205 yards, scores twice, and walks out the game's MVP with a record that stands for twenty years.

Roland Sales is our guest of honor on October 15.
