OK all you herbal allies... I've been listening & I've been gathering & THE ROOTED GYPSY is preparing to add some of the products you've requested. It's time to get started on our Fall & Winter apothecary's & I'm trying to get stocked! I know it's not easy to envision a warm hug in a mug during this heat wave, but the cooler temps are coming & THE ROOTED GYPSY has added some new flavored tea blends (Tisanes). We now have 3 different Chai's & one is chocolate! If you're looking something a bit spicier in your life, we have 2 ground cayenne peppers... 35,000 & 90,000 HU., as well as other organic seasonings & spices. As of now, I have 41 loose Tea's/blends, 92 Herbs & 27 Spices & Seasonings. CHAMOMILE

Chamomile is one of the most ancient medicinal herbs known to mankind. It is a member of Asteraceae/Compositae family and represented by two common varieties viz. German Chamomile (Chamomilla recutita) and Roman Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile). The dried flowers of chamomile contain many terpenoids and flavonoids contributing to its medicinal properties. Chamomile preparations are commonly used for many human ailments such as hay fever, inflammation, muscle spasms, menstrual disorders, insomnia, ulcers, wounds, gastrointestinal disorders, rheumatic pain, and hemorrhoids. Essential oils of chamomile are used extensively in cosmetics and aromatherapy. Many different preparations of chamomile have been developed, the most popular of which is in the form of herbal tea. 🌿
