Thankful Thursday
Today, we’re reflecting on the people who make this mission possible our patients, caregivers, clinicians, and supporters.
To the individuals who trust us with their care, and to those who walk beside them every step of the way: thank you. Your strength, resilience, and compassion inspire everything we do.
We’re grateful to be part of a community that shows up, lifts each other up, and believes in what’s possible.

This is John. He is a patient of Evergreen Prosthetics and Orthotics that has survived extraordinary things. He has inspired our team with his ability to overcome anything despite the odds. John says that there is "so much light in the apparent darkness" and keeps finding ways to persevere. He is passionate about helping others and keeps striving to do more. "A lot of people want to help, but they don't know how to act. So we should take it upon ourselves to teach others, simple as opening a door for someone", he explained. Educating those around us to better help us. For John, and many others, showing up for yourself is the most important first step. If you or someone you know is in need of peer support, don't hesitate to reach out. Evergreen Prosthetics and Orthotics has a peer support hotline available 24/7, 970-880-9762 to speak to an advocate.
