🌹 24 YEARS OF DEDICATION! 🌹

Today, we are celebrating and recognizing Stephanie Evans for an incredible 24 years of service at The Bradford at Brookside!

Stephanie serves as one of our dedicated Medication Aides (CMA), and 24 years of caring for our residents is something truly worth celebrating.

To show our appreciation, we surprised her with 24 beautiful roses for 24 wonderful years! One rose for every year of dedication, compassion, and commitment.

Stephanie, thank you for being such an important part of the Bradford family. Your years of service have made a difference in the lives of so many residents, families, and coworkers. We are so grateful to have you!

During National Rehabilitation Awareness Week, we proudly celebrate the exceptional Pivot Rehabilitation therapists serving patients across the Cantex Continuing Care Network.

From our 38 skilled nursing facilities to patients receiving care in other settings, Pivot team members help people regain strength, independence and confidence every day. No matter where they serve in Texas, they are united by helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes.

A Message to Our Families ❤️

We want to reassure all of our residents’ families that our residents at The Bradford at Brookside are safe and secure. We are aware of the significant flooding and the large amounts of water associated with the tropical storm, and our team is closely monitoring the situation.

At this time, we have electricity and our residents remain safe at the facility. Our staff is here and actively working to ensure our residents are comfortable, cared for, and protected throughout the storm.

We will continue to monitor conditions closely and keep families informed of any significant changes.

Please keep our residents, staff, and our community in your thoughts and prayers as we weather this storm together.

With the upcoming storm, The Bradford at Brookside has open beds available for hospice respite stays.

We invite our local hospice partners to reach out if you have patients or families who may need a safe, comfortable place to stay during the storm. Our team is ready to provide a welcoming environment and compassionate care for your hospice patients while giving families peace of mind.

🎓 Celebrating Our Graduates! 🎓

Last night, four of our amazing staff members at The Bradford at Brookside celebrated a huge milestone, and we couldn’t be more proud! ❤️

We are so proud of Shelby Ketchens, R’Travia Wyatt, Maicie Brown, and Raylee Gaston for all of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to furthering their education while continuing to care for our residents.

🩺 Maicie Brown & Raylee Gaston took the next step in their nursing journeys, advancing from CNA to LVN! 👏🏼

Yesterday, our residents got to get creative and build something they could enjoy for years to come! 🐦

They each had the opportunity to build and paint their very own birdhouse. From choosing their colors to adding their own personal touches, everyone had a great time creating something special. 🎨

We love seeing our residents try new things, get creative, and enjoy time together! What a fun afternoon!

🎪 Carnival Day at The Bradford at Brookside! 🎪

Yesterday, our wound care nurse, Hannah, and her family brought some extra fun and excitement to our residents by hosting a Carnival right here at The Bradford! ❤️

Our residents enjoyed playing games, winning prizes, and making some wonderful memories together. The prizes were generously donated, making the day even more special!

A huge thank-you to Hannah and her family for putting together such a fun afternoon for our residents. It was a great time filled with smiles, laughter, a little friendly competition, and lots of fun! 🎟️🎯🎈

We’re so thankful for the families, staff, and community members who help make moments like these possible for our residents.

There is no greater compliment than knowing we've made a positive impact in someone's life. ❤️

Recently, a resident who stayed with us for rehabilitation took the time to send a heartfelt card expressing her gratitude and appreciation for the care she received during her stay at The Bradford at Brookside.

We are honored to have the opportunity to care for each resident who walks through our doors, and kind words like these remind us why we do what we do every day.

With her permission, we are sharing a photo of the card she sent to our facility. Thank you for trusting us with your care and allowing us to be part of your journey.
