Remedy and Function I assist clients on the path to health with nutrition consultations and guidance. We will approach this with a holistic, positive mindset.

Consults by appointment only. I am a wife and mom who used her personal health journey to fuel her passion for integrative and holistic health programs. She is a Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant (CHNC), Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P), and a Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP -Dec 2022). She is knowledgeable in Autoimmune Paleo protocols and recently completed a Dietary

Supplement Specialist program certification as well. She believes knowledge is power and beneficial to educate her clients in all aspects of their journey. I believe in a full lifestyle overhaul that focuses on functional nutrition, proper stress and sleep management, along with integrating exercise in our day-to-day goals. Given that our body and environment are truly integrated, with the right tools our body can begin to heal. I understand from my own ongoing healing journey that it is never a straight and narrow path, and we experience peaks and valleys which helps me support you in your ongoing journey as well.

And DUTCHFest is a wrap!
Spent the weekend with amazing practitioners chatting all about genetics and what MaxGen can offer, education on the DUTCH test and how these tools all work together for optimizing patient outcomes. 🧬

Always recommend testing from and as tools to integrate into practice. Was great to chat about product options with as well during the event. So many options and great connections all the way around.

The COMT (Catechol-O-Methyltransferase) gene plays a crucial role in breaking down catecholamines, including dopamine, norepinephrine, and estrogen metabolites. Variations in COMT activity—whether fast or slow—can profoundly impact neurotransmission, mood regulation, estrogen metabolism, and inflammatory pathways, influencing conditions like ADHD, anxiety, estrogen dominance, histamine intolerance, and mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS). In this webinar, we’ll explore the clinical implications of COMT polymorphisms, their interaction with methylation (MTHFR, SAMe, BH4 pathways), and their downstream effects on neurochemistry, gut health, and immune function. We’ll also discuss how the gut microbiome and the estrobolome modulate estrogen metabolism, and how genetic insights can help guide personalized interventions for neurotransmitter balance, hormone regulation, and inflammatory control.

Hey Branson - thanks for letting us spend a few days sharing about MaxGen and letting my work family and I tear up your town and being able to celebrate my 46th with awesome people.

...so you see marriages are hard. Harder when you have a wife that insists on all the animals. .hard when the projects are never ending. .hard when you just want to sit down and stop.
But as I stand inside making dinner, I see this. My husband building a fence to keep our dogs in and wildlife out. He hasn't stopped to eat all day, is exhausted and falling apart physically and likely mentally too.
But what he doesn't realize is that I see him and all that he does to take care of this family and the never ending projects. (Buying land is a lot of work)
so even from this window I actually see our home being built one step at a time. Because he loves me. And at the end of the day THAT is enough.
