Hey Friends - There is a great webinar geared up for March 19th for anyone to attend.
If you'd like to check this out register at www.maxgenlabs.com/register
Here's a sneak peek of what will be discussed by my dear friend Brendan:
The COMT (Catechol-O-Methyltransferase) gene plays a crucial role in breaking down catecholamines, including dopamine, norepinephrine, and estrogen metabolites. Variations in COMT activity—whether fast or slow—can profoundly impact neurotransmission, mood regulation, estrogen metabolism, and inflammatory pathways, influencing conditions like ADHD, anxiety, estrogen dominance, histamine intolerance, and mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS). In this webinar, we’ll explore the clinical implications of COMT polymorphisms, their interaction with methylation (MTHFR, SAMe, BH4 pathways), and their downstream effects on neurochemistry, gut health, and immune function. We’ll also discuss how the gut microbiome and the estrobolome modulate estrogen metabolism, and how genetic insights can help guide personalized interventions for neurotransmitter balance, hormone regulation, and inflammatory control.
