๐ 4th Annual Serenity at the Park ๐
Proud to be supporting and a sponsor for the 4th Annual Serenity at the Park, representing Arbor Family Health and our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program.
Today is about recovery, hope, community, and remembering that every life is worth saving. It is also an opportunity to recognize the progress being made right here in Pointe Coupee Parish.
According to overdose data reported by Pointe Coupee General Hospital:
2024 โ 30 reported overdoses
2025 โ 26 reported overdoses
As of July 30, 2026 โ only 4 reported overdoses
Those numbers are encouraging. Behind every number is a person, a family, and a communityโand they remind us why prevention, education, treatment, harm reduction, and recovery support are so important.
In June 2025, Arbor Family Health placed four Narcan distribution boxes throughout Pointe Coupee Parish, providing greater access to this life-saving medication when and where it may be needed.
We are incredibly proud of our partnership with Pointe Coupee Parish Government and the work we have been able to accomplish by utilizing the parishโs opioid settlement funds to invest directly back into our community.
From increasing access to Narcan to connecting individuals with treatment, resources, and recovery support, our goal remains simple: meet people where they are, remove barriers to care, and help save lives.
There is still work ahead, but today we celebrate recovery, recognize progress, and continue working together toward a healthier Pointe Coupee Parish. ๐
Recovery is possible. Hope is real. Every life matters.
