We’ve recently seen an increase in “porch pirate” thefts across our community including stolen prescription packages left unattended after delivery.

Prescription medications are not replaceable consumer items. Many are time-sensitive, expensive, temperature-sensitive, or controlled substances that cannot simply be reissued without additional documentation and approvals.

To protect your health and your prescriptions:

✅ Please make sure someone is home when you are expecting a delivery
✅ Track your package and plan accordingly
✅ Consider having medications delivered to a secure location
✅ Bring packages inside immediately after delivery
✅ Notify us right away if a delivery appears delayed

Once a prescription is marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility shifts to the delivery location. Unfortunately, pharmacies cannot automatically replace medications reported stolen after confirmed delivery.

Your medications are essential to your health. A little planning can prevent a major disruption.
