UPDATE: We are back up and running!

Just a heads up:
Our phones and internet are down this morning. This means we cannot run your prescriptions through your insurance, and we also can't run debit or credit cards. Thank you for your understanding. I will post again as soon as everything is working.

🌿 National Public Health Week | April 6–12 🌿

Public health isn’t just something that happens in big hospitals or government offices — it happens right here in our community every day.

👇 Quick question for our community:
What is the one thing you do to stay healthy each day?

At Locust Fork Pharmacy, we help protect community health by helping our neighbors:

✔ Understand their medications
✔ Find the right over-the-counter treatments
✔ Manage diabetes and heart health
✔ Stay up to date on vaccines
✔ Get trusted advice from people who care

Sometimes the most important part of healthcare is simply having someone nearby you trust to answer your questions.

❤️ We’re proud to serve the Locust Fork community and help keep our neighbors healthy.

💊 Stop by anytime if you have questions about medications or over-the-counter products — we’re always happy to help.

🌼 Pollen Season Is Here in Alabama! 🌼

If you’ve stepped outside lately, you’ve probably seen that the pollen is starting to cover cars, porches, and sidewalks. That means pollen season is in full swing — and so are seasonal allergies.

Common allergy symptoms include:
🤧 Sneezing
👃 Runny or stuffy nose
👀 Itchy, watery eyes
😴 Fatigue

At Locust Fork Pharmacy, we can help you find the right relief so you can enjoy spring without the misery. We carry a variety of options, including:

• Antihistamines
• Nasal sprays
• Allergy eye drops
• Sinus relief products

🌿 Tip: Try to shower and change clothes after spending time outdoors to wash away pollen.

Stop by Locust Fork Pharmacy and let our pharmacist help you breathe easier this spring!

Let's All Eat Right Day is celebrated annually on February 25 to honor the birthday of pioneering nutritionist Adelle Davis (1904–1974), who advocated for whole, unprocessed foods. It encourages mindful eating, balanced nutrition, and reflecting on dietary habits to improve long-term health.

At Locust Fork Pharmacy, we care about your health beyond prescriptions. Good nutrition works hand-in-hand with your medications — especially for conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. Let’s celebrate Let’s All Eat Right Day by taking one step toward better health — one meal at a time!

International Epilepsy Day is an annual awareness day observed on the second Monday in February to highlight the challenges faced by people living with epilepsy. This year, it falls on February 9. Epilepsy—also known as a seizure disorder—is the fourth most common neurological condition and one of the oldest known medical conditions. It is caused by abnormal electrical activity in the brain, leading to recurrent seizures. Although nearly 65 million people worldwide live with epilepsy, stigma and misunderstanding still exist. International Epilepsy Day aims to educate the public, reduce stigma, and promote better care and support for those affected by the disorder.
